Grass-fed Beef Liver
The star of the show. Often considered to be the most nutrient-dense food on the planet, one Simple Valley Bar's worth of beef liver provides an assortment of your daily vitamin and mineral needs including (but not limited to): 270% of Vitamin B12 (supports energy metabolism and nerve function), 60% of Vitamin A (important for immune function and vision), 120% of Copper (supports energy production and free-radical defense mechanisms), plus bioavailable complete proteins, choline, iron, Vitamin K2, folate, and more!

Organic, Raw Honey
Honey has been valued as both as a food and as medicine for thousands of years across cultures. Organic, raw honey contains a multitude of beneficial polyphenols and flavonoids that give it antimicrobial, antioxidant, and immunomodulatory properties. There has even been some evidence that honey can reduce inflammation and oxidative-stress related issues in the body. Plus, honey is simply delicious!

Grass-fed Bovine Collagen
Collagen is the most abundant protein in mammals, and for good reason, as it is imperative to the health and function of our joints, tendons, and skin. We naturally produce less of it as we age so it is increasingly important to get enough collagen from diet. Studies have connected collagen supplementation with reduced wrinkle development as well as improved bone strength, density, and mass. We source solely grass-fed bovine collagen from pasture-raised cattle in Brazil.

Beef Protein Isolate
Beef protein isolate brings the muscle to the Simple Valley bar. Collagen is not a complete protein, and while the beef liver does add some complete proteins, beef protein isolate adds additional, high quality complete proteins that could support muscle synthesis and recovery. The main reason why our bars use Beef Protein instead of Whey is to keep the Simple Valley bar dairy free, minimizing potential allergens to let everyone enjoy Simple Valley bars as a great option pre- or post-workout.

Organic Coconut Oil
Coconut oil is a delicious source of medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs) that are an excellent source of quick energy that may even come with fat burning benefits. One particular MCT, lauric acid, has also been found to provide some antimicrobial and antifungal properties that may reduce effects against a number of disease-causing microorganisms. Interestingly, coconut oil consumption is linked to reduced hunger because it is quite satiating which helps make our bar a tasty and satisfying treat!

Organic, Mejdool Dates
Dates provide the binding power necessary to hold our protein bar together while also bringing a sweet, distinctly tropical flavor to the bar. The organic Mejdool dates we use are also a great source of a variety of micronutrients including magnesium, potassium, copper, and manganese. Plus, they're a fantastic source of fiber and antioxidants, including flavonoids, carotenoids, and phenolic acid.

Coconut Butter
Coconut butter serves as our delicious alternative to classic nut or seed butters. Coconut butter provides a unique texture and mouthfeel while contributing body to the bar. Plus, it provides fiber, some protein, and lauric acid which has a variety of potential health benefits. Furthermore, coconut butter may even aid weight loss because of its medium chain fatty acids which are burned for energy before their long-chain counterparts.

Sea Salt
Once worth its weight in gold, this essential mineral has been cherished for millennia. Our natural sea salt elevates flavor while providing electrolytes and potentially other healthy trace minerals including magnesium, potassium, and calcium.

Cinnamon
Cinnamon adds a delicious warm, almost nutty flavor to the Simple Valley bar. In addition to its spicy flavor, cinnamon is also a health food filled with antioxidants that contribute to its potential anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, and even possible LDL-lowering effects.
